Consumers are choosing composites because they generally require less maintenance than wood. Most do not require expensive, time consuming, painting, staining or sealing. Most will not splinter, twist, check or crack and generally last longer than neglected wood materials. They generally have 10, 15, 20, 25 or limited lifetime warranties. For these, and many more reasons, consumers are turning to composites to replace existing or build new decks, docks and fences.

Most composite owners are upper middle class with a disposable income. Most are eco-conscious, educated, and purchased their composite, in part, due to their environmentally responsible reputation. Most are aware of risks associated with using sodium hypochlorite, to clean mold & mildew stains, such as chlorine bleach and/or multiple other cleaning chemicals to clean other specific stains. Most prefer not to not use multiple expensive chemicals whenever possible, especially if a single competitvely priced alternative is available.

Corte*Clean® was developed after all other brand name deck cleaners (most were designed to clean wood and re-labeled “Composite Deck Cleaner”) and other chemicals did not satisfactorily resolve customer claims for a major composite manufacturer. Corte*Clean® was then developed with the help of a composite manufacturer and reputable chemical engineers with over 60+ years of combined experience to resolve customer claims related to all common spotting issues like those caused by mold & mildew stains, grease, oil, rust, tannin, BBQ & more. The person cleaning the composite will not need to purchase and use multiple products for specific staining issues.

Most composite manufacturers generally recommend routine cleaning at least twice (2x) per year, Spring and Fall. Corte*Clean® was/is designed to be the best cleaner for routinely cleaning composites and keeping them clean. It cleans common stains without excessive cost and effort.
