Step By Step Corte Clean Use Instructions
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
· Pump Sprayer
· Hose
· 5 Gallon Bucket
· Mixing Stick
· Brush
APPLICATION (TEST FIRST ON SMALL AREA)
· It is recommended to clean composites after installation and when dirty. Clean composites at least twice a year to help prevent deep stains and spotting.
· Remove all items from composite.
· To avoid damage, cover any areas that you do not intend to clean.
· Protect surrounding shrubs, plants, etc.
· Cleaner works best in DIRECT SUNLIGHT between 65° and 85° Fahrenheit.
· Hose with water and Brush composite surface to remove heavy dirt and debris prior to cleaning with Corte-Clean. Remove debris from between deck boards to allow for proper drainage.
· Allow surface to dry completely.
· Apply heavy, even coat of Corte-Clean (use pump sprayer for best results). Test first on small area.
· Do not clean more than one section of Composite railing/fencing or 100 sq. ft. of decking at a time.
· Allow cleaner to stand on the composite surface for 10 – 45 minutes. Keep area wet with Corte-Clean as needed.
· Scrub surface using a brush as necessary.
· If cleaner becomes discolored and heavily soiled on composite material surface, rinse thoroughly with water. Let composite dry completely. Re-apply Corte-Clean
· Do not allow Dirty Corte-Clean to dry.
· If deck is not properly gaped and/or does not drain properly (pooling) use a sponge mop to dry water off of the deck. This will help prevent the appearance of stains once the surface is dry.
· For tougher stains sprinkle dry Corte-Clean directly on wet surface; scrub with brush as needed.
· Rinse the composite surface thoroughly with water.
· Repeat application process until desired level of cleanliness is reached.
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
· Wear appropriate skin and eye protection.
· Add exactly 1 gallon of hot water to a 5 gallon plastic bucket.
· Blue Cap = 1 Cup of Corte-Clean.
· Mix 1.5 Cups of Corte-Clean per gallon of water for regular cleaning.
· Mix 2.5 Cups per gallon of water for maximum strength. This may be necessary to remove dark black spotting and difficult to remove stains.
· Mix until all Corte-Clean crystals are dissolved.
· Pour into pump sprayer.
· Do not mix Corte-Clean with any other chemicals or cleaners as hazardous fumes may result.
· 1 gallon of mixed Corte-Clean solution will cover approximately 200 +/- sq./ft. depending on surface condition of composite material.
STORAGE
Store unused powder in original container away from combustible materials in a dry cool area.

FIRST AID
In case of eye contact flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention. If ingested, do not induce vomiting. Drink a full glass of water or milk and seek medical attention.

Corte L.L.C. makes no other expressed warranties. In the event the product fails to conform to this warranty, Corte L.L.C., at its sole liability and in lieu of any direct or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, will, at our option, furnish replacement product or refund the purchase price-labor or the cost of labor for the application of any product are specifically are excluded. Proof of purchase must be supplied.

After-----Notice how you can no longer see ware the mold stains where when the composite is wet with water. Water magnifies stains. If you can still see the stains, they will likely, immediately, return if they were caused by mold.
Upon the final application of Corte Clean, when the Corte Clean no longer becomes dirty or discolored, the less thoroughly you rinse it, the longer it will continue to work, especially if mold stains are your primary issue. Let the Corte Clean dry on the composite surface and the rain naturally rinse it. This may leave an ugly white residue until thoroughly rinsed and should not be done to new composites or composites that will be used by bare skin, children, pets or anything living.
